    Begum Jaan's first day box-office collection

    Here's the first Friday box-office collection of Vidya Balan's latest release Begum Jaan.

    Vidya Balan 's much touted film Begum Jaan performed averagely at the box-office on day 1.

    Begum Jaan's first day box-office collection

    April 14 being the holiday in most places and with no such big competition, Begum Jaan was expected to perform well. Also, Vidya's ability in carrying the film solely on her shoulder, expectations were high from this one. However, film Begum Jaan managed to earn just 3.94 Crore on its first Friday at the box-office.

    Theatre occupancy remained low in morning shows as Begum Jaan carried A certificate. However, the foot falls increased in evening and night shows. It has also not managed to garner positive word of mouth, therefore Begum Jaan 's reign at the box-office is highly doubtful.
