Badrinath Ki Dulhania dominates the new releases in second week

Badrinath Ki Dulhania has got the box-office possession. It is ruling over this week's new releases – Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero, garnering majority footfalls at the theater.

Makers of Dulhania franchise took the smart decision of releasing Badrinath Ki Dulhania right before the extended Holi weekend, raking 43.05 crores in its first weekend. And now, at the start of 2nd week, film’s Friday collection stands to 4.21 crores. Therefore, making its total collection count to 77.87 crores, till date at the domestic front. It is expected to cross the 100 crore benchmark with its 2nd weekend collection, as predicted by the trade analyst.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Badrinath Ki Dulhania stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead.
