Jagga Jasoos witnesses a hike in collections during the weekend!

Anurag Basu’s ambitious project Jagga Jasoos which released last Friday after facing a lot of obstacles while its making. It took the team around three years to complete the project. Now the film is out and has been receiving mixed response from the audience as well as the critics. The three-day verdict is out and the crucial first weekend collections are determined. The box-office witnessed growth during the weekend but, not a major one. Here is the box-office report of the first weekend as the film crosses the 30 crore mark!

The making cost of the film is relatively high and hence, there is a pressure on the makers to perform exceptionally well at the ticket window. The film which is a comedy-drama with all the fantasy feels is performing decently at the BO and needs to be steady during the weekdays.

Jagga Jasoos, however, managed to leave behind Half Girlfriend, Savhin: A Billion Dreams and Naam Shabana to become 7th highest opening weekend grosser of this year.
