Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions have come together to revive Late Yash Chopra’s Ittefaq from 1969. The new remake film Ittefaq stars Sonakshi Sinha, Akshaye Khanna and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead. The original essence of the film has been taken forward in the new film but the story has been twisted for modern times. The film which falls under a niche genre of murder mystery has received a positive response from the audience as well as the critics.

It is competing with Kalki Koechlin, Sumeet Vyas’s film Ribbon that also released on the same day.
The movie is about a high profile double murder case involving two prime suspects who have very different stories to tell. The pro cop has to unfold the truth. The story is for a niche audience and has an intriguing plot. The thriller is directed by Abhay Chopra, and the suspense is truly kept intact. The thriller is a refreshing watch amidst the conventional Bollywood films.
