One cannot doubt the global stardom of our very own, Irrfan Khan . The actor has proved his acting abilities in India as well as in the West. But now, he is ruling the Chinese markets as well. His 2017’s film, Hindi Medium , released in China 2 days back and the collections are just amazing. With close to $ 10 million in just 2 days, it looks like the movie will reach 90 plus crores on its day 3. On Wednesday, HM made $3.36 million i.e. Rs. 22.06 crores and yesterday, the movie pocketed $6.28 million i.e. Rs. 41 crores and in just first two days, it managed to collect a whopping Rs. 63.06 crores.

On day 2, the movie witnessed a growth of 83.63% and if the Chinese masses continue their love for the film, it might also cross 100 crores today.

For the uninitiated, Hindi Medium traces the story of a couple’s struggle to find an ‘English medium school’ for their daughter. Irrfan plays the father while Saba Qamar essays the role of the mother. Deepak Dobriyal also plays a pivotal role in the film.

With China’s collection, the worldwide total of the film has reached to Rs. 195.44 crores.
