Here’s how much Siddharth-Sonakshi’s Ittefaq made on its opening Friday!

Sonakshi Sinha, Siddharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna’s latest release Ittefaq is a gripping suspense thriller. It is a murder mystery with two prime suspects and an engaging plot. The trailer received a raving response and the makers put out their best attempt to have the word out about the film. The first day box-office response was decent for the film on its opening Friday. The day began slow but the buzz picked up in the evening.

The film made Rs. 4.05 crores on its opening day at the domestic box-office. Both, Sonakshi and Siddharth need a hit for their career savior! Ittefaq has mostly a positive word of mouth and the trade experts expect growth during the weekend. The film has received majorly a positive response from the audience as well as the critics. It is competing with Kalki Koechlin, Sumeet Vyas’s film Ribbon that also released yesterday.

The thriller is directed by Abhay Chopra, it’s produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions. Ittefaq is a remake of 1969 film of the same name, directed by late Yash Chopra.
