Secret Superstar directed by debutant director Advait Chandan released this Thursday i.e. on October 19, 2017. The film is about a teenager girl Insia played by Zaira Wasim while Aamir has an extended cameo and plays a supporting role. The film was promoted averagely and not much buzz was created. However, with exceptional reviews and positive word of mouth, the movie is expected to gain momentum.

Secret Superstar made Rs. 4.80 crores on Thursday, its opening day. The film will grow during the weekend. Also, it will have to face a tough competition from Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again which is again a good film. It is a fun horror-comedy that received a positive response from the critics as well as the audience.

Since both the movies are by the biggies of Bollywood and feature good content, trade experts are expecting a relatively fair collection for both the films. Secret Superstar also stars Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Tirth Sharma, Kabir Sheikh, and Farrukh Jaffer in key roles.
