Step by step, Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s magnum opus is inching towards the Rs. 200 crores club. The hard work of Bhansali and the actors is now paying off. Despite the big ban, the movie is turning out to be a successful venture. Till Thursday, the film did a total business of Rs. 166.50 crores but after yesterday’s collection, the movie surpassed the 175 crores mark. On day 10, i.e. yesterday, the film managed to earn Rs. 10 crores and so far, it is standing strong with Rs. 176.50 crores. After today’s collections, the Shahid Kapoor , Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer will cross the lifetime collection of ‘ Bajirao Mastani ’ and it is expected to enter in the 200 crores club by the end of Sunday.

For all the movie lovers, there’s good news about ‘ Padmaavat ’. After helluva controversies and obstacles, Karni Sena - the communal group, has finally decided to lift the ban from Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and will allow the film to get a release in the respective States.

Karni Sena chief informed a leading daily that they now have no issues with the film and will help the theatre owners to get the grand film released.

Talking about the worldwide collections, the film till has raked in Rs. 262.37 crores.
