The movie starring Ajay Devgn will shortly have been in theatres for three weeks. Even still, the same-named remake of a Malayalam film is doing better financially than fresh releases. Both of the newest Bollywood movies, Bhediya and An Action Hero, are failing to bring viewers to the theatres, and their attendance numbers are steadily declining. Drishyam 2 has, on the other hand, kept up a constant pace.
Drishyam 2 earned more than Rs 2 Cr in week three, bringing its total take to over Rs 27 Cr. If business keeps up this pace, the movie will soon surpass Rs 200 Cr. "On its third Tuesday, Drishyam 2 continued to bring in consistent revenue, bringing in 2.50 crore nett. Now that it has earned 27 crore nett in its second week, the week is expected to end with 33 crore nett. Total revenue for the movie to date is 187 crore nett "reported Box Office India
