Omung Kumar’s latest release Bhoomi that has been touted as Sanjay Dutt ’s comeback film was released yesterday, i.e. on September 21. The movie features actress Aditi Rao Hydari in the title role. It has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. The film has been promoted well and it was one of the most anticipated films based on a loving father-daughter relationship.

The movie started on a slow note at the box-office. It managed to rake in Rs. 2.25 crores on its first Friday at the domestic front. The makers must have expected a better opening due to the hype it created and the marketing strategies. The movie needs to witness a hike during its first weekend in order to have a decent total as the first weekend is crucial for any film’s box-office success.
