Omung Kumar’s latest release Bhoomi featuring Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari in key roles has received mixed reviews from the audience as well as the critics. It further made Rs. 2.47 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.76 crores on Sunday. Hence, the total first-weekend collection stands at Rs. 7.48 crores at the domestic markets. The makers must have expected a better opening due to the hype it created and the marketing strategies. It was touted as Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film.
The movie has been receiving tough completion from Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena Parkar and Rajkummar Rao’s Newton that released on the same day. Among the three releases, Newton is performing really well at the box-office front.
