Alongside Ayushmann, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shefali Shah play the roles of the other doctors in Doctor G. Anubhuti Kashyap makes her feature film debut with it. The movie Doctor G, co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, Saurabh Bharat, and Anubhuti Kashyap, tells the tale of aspiring physician Uday Gupta (Ayushmann), who enrolls in gynecology for postgraduate study because there are no seats available in orthopedics, his preferred field.

Almost 60% less was collected on day four, according to a Boxofficeindia.com report. It also said that the decline in collections has ended, with Delhi and Uttar Pradesh performing slightly better than the others.

Ayushmann held a pre-Diwali party on Sunday at his home in Mumbai.

His Doctor G co-star Rakul was among the many celebrities who attended the star-studded gala, along with Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu, Ananya Panday, Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, and Huma Qureshi.

During the party, Kartik Aaryan also made a video with Ayushmann showing off the $1,000 prize he had won playing a game. He urged followers to see Doctor G in theatres nearby so the movie would be very successful.

"I have tried to present the story from the perspective of today's modern world, which is full of characters like you and me," Anubhuti said when speaking about the movie to PTI. I tried to keep it as authentic as I could. So no one in the film is a complete a**hole or a great, well-mannered expert. Everyone is a mixed bag in a movie, and that's how I've approached it. I believe my gaze is what gives the film its nuance.
