‘Adipurush’, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, debuted on June 16 to mixed reviews. Although there was high anticipation before the movie's debut, industry analysts had anticipated a massive opening. The movie was released in five different languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. According to early estimates from Day 1, the movie had a thundering debut.

‘Adipurush’, a film by Om Raut, was finally released on June 16 after numerous delays. The movie, which stars Prabhas as Raghav, received savage mockery on its opening day for its visual effects and speech. Some others did, however, believe Prabhas lived up to his part in the movie. Early estimates for Day 1 indicate that Adipurush had a thundering debut in theatres. The movie may possibly gross more than Rs 100 crore in its opening day worldwide!

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film made 35 crore rupees in the Hindi-speaking region, 58.50 crore rupees in Telugu, 0.40 crore rupees in Malayalam, 0.70 crore rupees in Tamil, and 0.4 crore rupees in Kannada. According to preliminary figures, the overall collection will probably total around Rs 95 crore.

The mythical story ‘Adipurush’, which Om Raut wrote and directed, is based on the Ramayana by Valmiki. Prabhas plays Lord Ram in the movie, while Kriti Sanon plays Sita and Saif Ali Khan plays Raavan. In the movie, they each take on the characters of Raghava, Janaki, and Lankesh. The supporting cast includes Devdatta Nage and Sunny Singh.
