Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend faced a hard time at the box-office in its second weekend. It collected drastically low at the box-office as compared to its opening weekend collection.

Half Girlfriend earned 49.19 Cr in its first week. However, in the second weekend, it experienced a downfall with Friday 1.76 Cr, Saturday 2.01 Cr, and Sun 2.35 Cr. The total box-office collection of 10 days is 55.31 Cr. Its business took a turn largely because of this week’s release Sachin: A Billion Dreams. Also, the increasing recommendation of Hindi Medium can be cited as the reason behind Half Girlfriend ’s decline.

Trade Analyst predicts Half Girlfriend soon coming out of the theaters. Whereas, its competitor release Hindi Medium is taking its baby steps forward. Though, its collection is relatively low, yet it is going strong in the second week.

Directed by Mohit Suri, film Half Girlfriend is a based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. It projects the seasoned love story of a Madhav and Riya, played by Arjun and Shraddha respectively.
