It seems like Bollywood is going through a dry spell for some months, otherwise, an entertaining film like Mubarakan wouldn’t have a hard time earning on Box office. Although, the film was taken well on the critique table and the initial response was enticing that even trade pundits also thought it would be a blockbuster hit! But considering the opening and the first-week performance at the box office, it is not good up to the standard of Anees Bazmee ’ film!

The Mubarakan was opened with 15-20% attendance in the theatres on Friday and total collection for the film was 5.16crores, which was deplorable! The total collection for the first week was 35.66crores and it was sufficient first week. But on this week Friday, the movie earned 1.05crore and 2crores on Saturday. While on Sunday it earned 3.03 crores making a total of 41.74 cr. till the end of the weekend!

Mubarakan is a comedy film about twins, separated at childhood, decided to take the help of their uncle to tell their families about their girlfriends and the hilarious chaos happen in the meantime is what would make you laugh! The casting of the film also includes Arjun Kapoor , Anil Kapoor , Ileana D’cruz , Athiya Shetty , Neha Sharma, Rahul Dev, Karan Kundra, Ratna Pathak , Anil Mange and also Pavan Malhotra . Although trade pundits predict it could last one more week before Toilet: Ek Prem Katha would release on 11th Aug!
