Actress Zayn Marie Khan, the child of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak director Mansoor Khan and Aamir Khan's cousin, faced several obstacles as she tried to enter the industry. Despite having a history in film, she admitted in a candid chat that she had to endure an endless stream of rejections. Zayn also revealed the piece of guidance she received from Aamir.

"Acting is a career where rejection is unavoidable.

No matter your rank or origin, you will have to deal with it. It is a tragic profession. Although your privilege somewhat protects you, I was attempting to break into this industry alone. Although I am related to a family, many times when I attended an audition, no one knew who I was. I lost count of how many times I was turned down, and I'm sure that's true for every performer out there. But I'm happy that it did for me. I am collaborating with people who I admire," said Zayn.

The 27-year-old actress said that Mr. Perfectionist never gave her feedback on how she performed, preferring to express appreciation for her efforts instead. But I recall him telling me a few years ago that there are two types of actors: one who considers their appearance while performing and the other who simply goes through the motions. According to Zayn, "the second kind of actor is the one who seems the most natural.
