The filmmaker has now officially stated that the action film, starring Siddharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani, would now be released a week earlier on December 8, 2023.

Meanwhile, trade expert Taran Adarsh revealed on X that Sriram Raghavan's ‘Merry Christmas’, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, will be released on December 8, 2023.
Previously, when discussing the Yodha release date adjustment, a source stated, "Yodha is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions." Karan realized that once Dunki and Salaar appear in theatres, Yodha will struggle to hold screens in the second week. Furthermore, even Dunki and Salaar's distributors will face difficulties because theatres do not want to miss out on Yodha, especially if it does well."
According to the source, Karan and Shah Rukh Khan have a lengthy history together. Furthermore, he is linked to Prabhas because the filmmaker was the one who introduced the Hindi version of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. As a result, he has delayed bringing Yodha to the premiere to prevent upstaging SRK and Prabhas.
