The case was filed after several Sikh organizations and individuals filed complaints with the police. The actor, Meezaan Jafri, has been arrested by the police. The film's director, Vinay Sapru, is also absconding and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The film's makers have claimed that the actor was actually wearing a khukri, a curved knife, and not a kirpan. They have also said that they did not intend to offend or disrespect any religious beliefs.

The Sikh Community Is Upset

The Sikh community is upset over the scene in the film that shows an actor wearing a kirpan. The kirpan is a sacred symbol of the Sikh faith and is only supposed to be worn by baptized Sikhs.

The Sikh community believes that the scene in the film is disrespectful to their faith and is causing them to feel hurt and angry.
