Wow! Suniel Shetty Confirms 'Awara Paagal Deewana 2' In The Making; Will Have A Crossover With 'Welcome 3' (Details Inside)

Suniel Shetty is reunited with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal for the fourth Hera Pheri' installment, titled 'Hera Pheri 4,' which has been generating headlines for a variety of reasons. Aside from the highly awaited film, Suniel's 'Awara Pagal Deewana' and Akshay's 'Welcome' are both expected to return with sequels and third instalments.

While fans have been waiting for updates, it has been revealed that 'Awara Pagal Deewana' and 'Welcome 3' will have a crossover.

According to a previous media rumour, Akki, Shetty, and Rawal will not only reunite for 'Hera Pheri 4' but also for two more comedy film franchises, including sequels to 'Awara Paagal Deewana 2' and 'Welcome 3.' The actor has now confirmed this.

Suniel Shetty said in a recent interview that he will return with 'Awara Paagal Deewana 2' and 'Welcome 3,' reprising his role as Yeda Anna alongside Johnny Lever as Chhota Chattri.

He confirmed, “The story of ‘Awara Pagal Deewana sequel’ is locked, but ‘Welcome 3’ might happen before. I am a part of ‘Welcome 3’ as well, and these characters, Yeda Anna and Chota Chatri will go there. Universe ek ho jaata hai.”

Suniel Shetty also spoke on the audience' commitment to and expectations from these two flicks. He stated boldly, “All three of us (Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and him) are very conscious. Humne humesha kaha hai, ‘rehne do yaar, mat le ke aao’. But we are conscious about bringing these films back. As actors, we have matured a lot more. We will hit it out of the park and we are ready for it.”

Meanwhile, on August 11, 2023 Akshay Kumar will return with ‘Oh My God 2’ without Paresh Rawal.
