Kareena, the lead of the opening night film 'The Buckingham Murders,' stole the spotlight in a chic black gown complemented by pink accents. Her elegant look, completed with nude makeup and a sleek bun, was shared on Instagram, generating buzz for the premiere.
Notably, Saif Ali Khan, accompanied by his sister Karisma Kapoor, joined the event in coordinated white traditional attire. The red carpet also witnessed appearances by Diana Penty, Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, adding to the star-studded affair.

With over 250 films showcased over a 10-day period at the Jio World Centre, the festival aims to promote new voices in South Asian cinema. It boasts an impressive lineup of 40 World Premieres, 45 Asia Premieres, and 70 South Asia Premieres, receiving a remarkable 1000 submissions for the South Asia programme.
Highlighting the South Asia Competition, the festival underscores its commitment to nurturing emerging talent and fostering a platform for South Asian and South Asian Diaspora cinema.
