Controversies around Salman Khan's upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali simply refuse to die down. While the news of Aayush Sharma's exit making headlines, there are now rumours that director Farhad Samji is missing from the sets and that Salman Khan has taken his charge and directing the film now.
Reports further claim that 10 percent of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has apparently being shot by Farhad Samji after which Salman Khan is said to have stepped in and taken over with the help from Assistant Directors (ADs).
A source close to the project has revealed that Salman Khan and his co-producers were not impressed by Samji's work. Their confidence in Farhad displaying any improvement wasn't too high - given his track record thus far, with his last release, Bachchan Pandey being a disaster.
In view of these factors, Salman Khan apparently decided to step in. The superstar is being helped by the ADs on the sets. And while Farhad Samji has not being replaced officially on record, he'll now only be consulted for inputs as and when required.
Coming to Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the film recently went on floor at an elaborate set in Mumbai's Vile Parle locality. Also starring, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill and Tollywood actor Venkatesh, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will hit theatres on 30 December 2022.
