When Gauri Khan REVEALED the REAL reason behind leaving Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have been married for almost three decades and are literally the relationship goals. Their fans, as well as the rest of the world, can't get enough of how cute they are together. But not many people are aware of the fact that Gauri considered leaving SRK at one point, even though their relationship is now rock solid.

Shahrukh Khan began a relationship with Gauri when he was 18 years old, and the two dated for several years before marrying in 1991.

As per reports, Gauri appeared on Koffee with Karan alongside Sussane Khan in 2005, where the host revealed that Gauri had considered quitting Shah Rukh Khan.

Gauri revealed this in an episode of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan, claiming Shah Rukh Khan's possessiveness was the reason. “I thought maybe it’s too young for us to decide anything to get married. So, I just took a short break. He was too possessive for me and I could not handle that.” She went on to say that she needed her own space and that she had been doing this for a time. “Later, I went back to him,” said the superstar’s wife.

When SRK was 18 and Gauri was 14, they met at a common friend's party and fell in love. The couple married on October 25, 1991, after being in a long-term relationship. They have a son named Aryan Khan, a daughter named Suhana Khan, and a surrogate son named Abram Khan.
