At the stadium in Qatar, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone witnessed the FIFA World Cup championship game between Argentina and France. Deepika and former Spanish player Iker Casillas unveiled the world cup trophy prior to the game. Ranveer praised Deepika on Monday, referring to her as his "asli trophy (genuine trophy)" in a number of images and videos from the stadium.
Ranveer posted images of Deepika Padukone revealing the trophy on his Instagram Stories, saying, “Asli trophy toh mere haath mein hai (the real trophy is with me). So glad and grateful that we witnessed this together,” he captioned. Later, he shared a video on his Instagram story in which he said with pride, “World Cup trophy ke saath meri trophy (watching along with my trophy, world trophy).” After Deepika joined him in the audience, he also shared a photo of the two of them.
The actor then shared a few brief videos of them watching the gripping game. “Scenes, Just absolute scenes," he commented alongside a clip of himself hugging Deepika as they watched Argentina win the game. They were watching the game together when he referred to it as a "historic moment."
Ranveer also posted pictures of his stories with Achraf Hakimi(a Morocco player), N’Golo Kante, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kaka, Arsene Wenger( Chief of Global Football Development at FIFA), and Alessandro Del Piero.
Ranveer also posted additional images and videos from the stadium, along with the following commentary: “The greatest world cup final ever and I was there.” He also met Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, who later collaborated on an Instagram video with him. Ranveer may be seen at practically all major events throughout the world, Ravi noted in the video.
Ranveer will now appear in the comedy film Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty. Additionally, Deepika participated in the movie's original dance routine, Current Laga. On December 23, Cirkus will make its theatrical debut ahead of Christmas.
