It's no secret that Vivek Oberoi had a difficult time in the past when he was in a controversial relationship with Aishwarya Rai. Vivek had claimed that Aishwarya's ex-boyfriend Salman Khan had abused and threatened him during their breakup in 2003. Vivek recently stated in a new interview that following a horrible relationship experience, at one point, that he only wanted to have casual relationships. He did admit, though, that the more girls he dated, the lonelier he felt.
He revealed, "My experience in love at that point was one where I felt very let down. That made me very cynical and bitter. I just wanted to have flings, I just want to be in a casual story and I went down that path. I explored that path and the more the girls I dated the more lonely I felt,"
He claimed that he had a lot of flings at the time and that it made him feel much lonelier than he already did.
In October 2010, Vivek married Priyanka Alva, daughter of Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva. The couple has two children together, a son and a daughter.
Vivek completed his 20-years in the film industry as an actor in February. Vivek became a household name after making his debut in the film Company in 2002. Since then, he has had a couple of hits, including Saathiya, Yuva, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and Rakta Charitra. In the meanwhile, he had a rough stretch in his acting career before making a comeback in 2017 with the web series Inside Edge.
