Vijay Kargil Diwas: Sunny Deol Announces Gadar 2 Trailer Release!
After a hiatus of more than two decades, the renowned acting duo of Tara Singh and Sakina will reunite in Sunny Deol's eagerly awaited movie 'Gadar 2'. The 2001 film Gadar's initial release had gained enormous acclaim and acquired the title of 'cult classic.' The comeback of this adored on-screen duo has been highly anticipated by the audience, and finally, the anticipation peaked when Sunny Deol revealed the date of the film's trailer launch on the auspicious event of the 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas.
Sunny Deol himself made the announcement via a post on Twitter, announcing that the 'Gadar 2' teaser would be released on July 4th and promising a spectacular cinematic spectacle. A poster with a fierce-looking Sunny Deol and the words 'Courage knows no borders' was attached to the announcement.
According to rumours, 'Gadar 2' will take place in the 1970s and have the Indo-Pak War as its historical setting. During that time, Pakistan has seen a rise in the anti-Indian
'Crush India' movement. The emotional father-son connection will take front stage in the sequel to 'Gadar', which originally focused on Tara's efforts to save Sakina. Sunny Deol will play Tara Singh, who will go on a risky quest to save his son Jeete from Pakistan.
'Gadar 2', like its predecessor, will include a gripping love story. This time, the movie will highlight the extreme lengths Tara Singh is prepared to go to for his son's protection and well-being. A teaser for the movie, which was unveiled on June 12 and featured Sunny Deol in his customary action-packed persona, gave viewers a taste of the movie's essence. In a touching moment, Tara was spotted in a cemetery, raising the possibility that she was visiting Sakina's grave. This misunderstanding was later cleared up, indicating that the burial actually belongs to a different figure and not Sakina.
