Liger, starring Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda, is about to be released! Today, Thursday, sees the release of the most eagerly awaited movie of the year. Ananya Panday, however, was questioned in an interview prior to the movie's premiere if it was simple or tough to match Vijay's energy on the Liger set. Vijay immediately intervened and explained that Ananya is overdramatic and that as a result, he had to increase his energy levels on set.
Speaking to a news portal, the Arjun Reddy (2017) actor said, “Ananya is an overdramatic person in real life so it was me who had to match Ananya as I am a bit slow in real life. I walk slow, and I talk slow, so I had to get into a different zone to match the energy of Ananya on the sets of Liger. It took a few days to match the level, but when I was there, it was totally a fun thing.”
In response to Vijay's remarks, Ananya stated that "it is fun being overdramatic sometimes." She also said she resembles Tanya, the character she played in Liger, a lot. “There are similarities, but the character of Tanya is 100 times more than Ananya. I am also very dramatic in life but Tanya is Ananya 2000,” she said.
Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda will be starring together on screen for the first time in Liger. Deverakonda will portray a mixed martial arts fighter in the movie. Mike Tyson, an American boxer, makes his Bollywood debut in the film as well. Liger is being co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in collaboration with Puri Connects. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
