In the next movie Govinda Naam Mera, Vicky Kaushal, who was last seen in the 2021 movie Sardar Udham, will play a hilarious role that is sure to amuse the audience. Vicky plays a significant role in the Shashank Khaitan-directed movie, which also stars Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.
Vicky Kaushal's previous efforts, which were often a blend of drama and thriller movies, are widely known to those who know him well. Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, has chosen to perform in a comedic part for the first time.
Vicky stated, "I did," when asked about playing a funny character for the first time (find it hard to do a comedy film). Yes. I was experiencing it for the first time, so. I had the impression that I was making my first movie.
"I think I was the most anxious about it, too. You see, you are less anxious when there is a huge dramatic scene where you have to cry and everything than when there is a big comedic one. A hilarious scene is under additional pressure. You must finally get the joke. There is pressure because you'll either fall on it or completely miss it, he added.
He recalled his experience working on the sets of Govinda Naam Mera and added, "On the set, a sequence is often performed numerous times. And nobody on the set is responding. As a result, you continue to think you are not funny. No one was giggling (on the set). Therefore, I found it very challenging to judge how well the joke was received.
Acting in a comedic character was "new for him but also nerve-wracking on some days," Kaushal continued.
The upcoming film by Laxman Utekar, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, will have Kaushal in a major role. Later, he will appear in Meghna Gulzar's biography on Sam Bahadur.
