The two also shared a couple of pictures from their intimate wedding ceremony, which have now gone viral on the internet.
“Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment . Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together," the couple wrote in the caption. The amazing pictures prove that Vicky and Kat are a match made in heaven and no one can ever be done adoring them.
The duo, who secretly dated each other for almost a year, tied the nuptial knot at Sawai Madhopur’s Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan today on December 9. Their close friends and family members attended the wedding to bless the couple.
According to reports, before exchanging vows in Rajasthan, the couple had signed official documents and registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act of 1954, as per reports.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had reached their wedding destination on Monday evening. Their close friends and family members had also accompanied them in a fleet of 15 cars. Several police personnel accompanied the actors and their guests to ensure that they reached the venue without any inconvenience.
The wedding festivities began on December 7 with a sangeet ceremony, followed by Mehendi on December 8 and the wedding on December 9. The festivities are expected to wrap up on December 10 with a reception, as per reports.
There are also reports that the actors may not go on a honeymoon due to their chock-a-block schedule. Both actors have some high-profile films on their plate. They are expected to begin work on their respective projects in a couple of days.
