Varun Dhawan recently went live on Instagram to greet his fans and reveal that his forthcoming flick Jug Jugg Jeeyo's song ‘Nach Punjaban’ will be released on May 28. Friends from the film industry came up to say hello and congratulate the actor on the trailer for Jug Jugg Jeeyo. During Varun’s Instagram live, Diana Penty, Avneet Kaur, and Tiger Shroff were among the celebrities who interacted with him in the comments.
In keeping with the film’s title, Tiger wrote, “Jug Jug Jyo,” to which Varun responded by thanking him. Varun said, “Tiger, I guess you were somewhere in the hills, I hope you are back. I saw some photos."
He went on to clarify that he is looking for fitness advice and inspiration because he is planning to shoot bare-bodied in the coming days. Tiger responded by saying, “Sir kuch toh chorr do mere liye.” In the comments, he also wrote, "Big fan sir."
Varun also confirmed during the live that ‘Nach Punjaban’, the first single from Jug Jugg Jeeyo, will be released on May 28. Given the Punjabi mood of the song, he sought fans’ suggestions for a suitable premiere location.
Even before it was released, the song was dogged by controversy. Abrar Ul Haq, a Pakistani artist, claimed that the creators used his song without his consent. The singer moved to social media to say the same thing and vowed to sue the filmmaker. Later, T-Series released a statement clarifying that they had legal permission to use the song.
