Varun Dhawan has been a part of the Bollywood industry for quite some time. Time stamps! Dhawan debuted in the film industry as Student Of The Year more than ten years ago. He has appeared in over 17 films, several of which smashed box office records. Varun has indicated his desire to broaden his career and work in South cinema.
One may confidently assert that South and Bollywood cinema is on a level with one another, given the box office success of recent South films like RRR, KGF-Chapter 2, Pushpa-The Rise, and Ponniyin Selvan I.
Does Varun Dhawan intend to work in South film?
Varun Dhawan has expressed interest in participating in South Asian films in light of these changes. In an exclusive interview with India Today on Friday, he stated, "If Lokesh Kanagraj, the director of Vikram and Kaithi, offered me a role, then 100% I would love to make a Tamil film with him. Why not accept an offer from Rajamouli or Shankar? Kantara, which is currently having a smashing success at the box office, received a tonne of appreciation from Varun Dhawan.
I believe Indian movies are doing pretty well, he said. Every player on Team India currently competing in the World Cup is an Indian, whether from the south or the north of India.
"If Kantara, KGF 2, or Vikram are performing well, we should take inspiration from them and strive to collaborate," Varun said that it's the best thing for Indian films to thrive right now.
