Trailer for Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor starrer Shamshera to be launched in three different cities

Last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju in 2018, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Shamshera. The actor takes on the role of a larger-than-life classic Hindi film hero in the much-awaited docait-drama.

The latest update on the film is that the entire cast & crew are reportedly going to travel across three different cities to launch the trailer of the film which includes Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor along with director Karan Malhotra.

“I am very excited to start promoting Shamshera. It’s a film that we want to take to a large audience. It’s a film made for a large audience. Whatever we can do to market the film, to create the buzz, we’re going to go all out. I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction to that. We are all looking forward to that and it will be fun to promote this film and market this film with Sanju Sir, Vaani, and Karan Malhotra,” said Ranbir.

When asked about the multi-city trailer launch, Sanjay Dutt who also plays the antagonist in the film answered, “I have seen Shamshera and I’m sure that it is a film that will connect to the whole of India. We are going to launch our trailer in multiple cities and we want to meet and connect with as many people as possible with our trailer. A film like this is an in and out entertainer and it celebrates everything that is good about the quintessential Hindi films we have all grown up on.”

While the poster looked so appealing and intriguing, fans can’t wait to watch Ranbir in this completely new avatar. Shamshera is set in the fictional city of Kaza, where a warrior tribe is imprisoned, enslaved, and tortured by Shudh Singh, a vicious authoritarian general. This is the narrative of a guy who became a slave, a slave who rose to become a leader, and ultimately a tribe legend.
