Priyanka Chopra is not just any name in the film industry. She is one of the finest actresses and someone who has taken her country’s name to a global level. PeeCee is a true inspiration for many budding stars and women around the world. The actress who started her acting journey two decades ago is considered to be one of the best in the industry globally. Priyanka has delivered some of the finest performances and played characters that have etched people’s hearts and will stay on forever. Today we take a look back at some of the characters she has played in films that stood out and caught everyone’s eye!

1) Jhilmil

Film- Barfi

In Anurag Basu's Barfi, Priyanka Chopra portrays Jhilmil, a girl with autism. This character is still one of her most recognisable and adored ones from the movie. Nobody could have easily located the glamorous and fashionable PeeCee who was concealed beneath Jhilmil's disguise. The celebrity made sure that everyone forgot they were watching Priyanka Chopra the diva on-screen for those three hours with her flawless acting, impeccable hairstyle, impeccable dress, impeccable body language, and impeccable speech. Even now, if you view the movie, she will be able to get a tear or two to fall from your eyes.

2) Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes

Film: 7 Khoon Maaf

This movie featured Priyanka Chopra in a hitherto unseen avatar. The multifaceted female villain character in her 7 Khoon Maaf persona, Anna Marie Johannes, is what first drew readers in. As part of her search for true love, she gets married and falls in love seven times. She aspires to the ideal form of love, but when she is unable to find it, she brutally murders each of her spouses.

3) Kashibai

Film: Bajirao Mastani

When someone talks about Kashibai today, all we can picture is Priyanka's portrayal of her as Peshwa Bajirao's wife Kashibai. She nailed it on screen. Everything about her onscreen portrayal, including her Marathi accent and royal status, was flawless. She played a Maharashtrian woman in this movie, giving her a brand-new look, and it was fantastic.

4) Aditi Chaudhary

Film: The Sky Is Pink

Aisha Chaudhary and her family's lives served as the inspiration for Shonali Bose's moving real narrative The Sky Is Pink. Aditi (Aisha's mother) was portrayed by Priyanka Chopra. It is difficult to express the challenges of a mother whose daughter is fighting for her life, but PeeCee did just that by brilliantly portraying her emotions and including the audience in her journey.

5) Mary Kom

Film: MC Mary Kom

The lead actor in this movie was Priyanka Chopra, who did a fantastic job of portraying and bringing to life Mary Kom. Priyanka was meticulous about everything, from mastering the fundamentals of boxing to executing her physical metamorphosis. No one could have performed Mary Kom on screen the way she did since she put a lot of effort into her preparation. The actress was confronted with numerous inquiries as to why a northeastern actress had not been selected for the part. Despite all of this, she nonetheless arrived, reigned, and conquered.
