Bollywood's King Shah Rukh deserves it. His humbleness, wacky sense of humour, and portrayal as a romantic hero have won everyone over. 'Dil Se' director Tigmanshu Dhulia remembers a humble moment for the celebrity.

King Khan was cast in Mani Ratnam's 1998 hit 'Dil Se.' The 1998 film's dialogue writer, Dhulia, remembered how the celebrity spoke to everyone on production and slept on the bus floor.

Tigmanshu Dhulia told Mashable India that Shah Rukh Khan was "already a superstar" when they filmed 'Dil Se.' He said Mani Ratnam sometimes filmed in remote locations at the last minute. He said Shah Rukh would eat hurriedly before falling asleep on the bus during the one-hour lunch break.

He slept on the bus floor. He would power sleep on a sheet his child laid on the floor. The director says Shah Rukh never indicated he was sleeping there.

'Zero' has reunited Tigmanshu Dhulia and Shah Rukh Khan. He stated that the 'Pathaan' actor was always humble.

“On Zero, since it was his own production, he would offer chairs to everyone. Ask everyone if they had their food. It felt like we are baraatis; he is the ladkiwala and we have come to his house for a wedding. Even if he didn’t do it, no one would have a problem. He is Shah Rukh Khan. But no, his manners are extraordinary. He is a very humble man, very well-mannered,” Dhulia shared.
