Bollywood has had a difficult year in 2022. Heropanti 2, starring Tiger Shroff, was one of many high-profile Bollywood films that were predicted to perform well at the box office but ended up failing miserably. Even though the movie was a significant holiday (Eid) release and had a franchise element, it ended up being a failure.
Now, a few weeks ago, Karan Johar announced a film starring Tiger Shroff . The film, titled Screw Dheela, would be directed by Shashank Khaitan and will reportedly star Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. There have, however, recently been rumours that the movie has been shelved for a number of reasons.
The makers of the movie have now clarified that Screw Dheela has not been shelved and has been moved to 2023. The film has been making waves in the entertainment world. Date concerns are what's causing the delay, and it won't start until later next year. In addition to Screw Dheela, it has been reported that Tiger will collaborate with Karan's Dharma Productions on yet another epic action movie.
This is the second movie directed by Shashank Khaitan to be delayed till 2023. Prior to this, his film Bedhadak, which stars Shanaya Kapoor, Laksh, and Gurfateh Pirzada, was also rescheduled. There were rumours that even Bedhadak had been put on hold, but the producers later explained that it had been moved up to the beginning of the next year.
Meanwhile, Shashank Khaitan is currently awaiting the release of his film Govinda Naam Mera starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani.
