Kangana Ranaut has made no effort to avoid taking over the Internet with her stellar performances, chic sense of style, or highly contentious remarks. Being a lifelong rebel, Kangana made the decision to flee her home to pursue a career in acting. Her father was not particularly happy with this decision. Little did Kangana, who hails from the small Himachal Pradesh town of Bhambla, know when she was a teenager that she would one day conquer Bollywood thanks to her outstanding performances in films like ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Queen’. In addition to acting, Kangana is well known for her sense of style. With the help of the clothing company Vero Moda, she launched her limited edition clothing line Marquee.

Intriguingly, over the course of her more than 14-year career, the actress has demonstrated her versatility on the big screen. Kangana has undeniably proven her value, rising from relative obscurity to join the A-list and even attempting to direct. Kangana has participated in more than 30 films to date. Kangana received a role offer from ‘I Love You Boss’ producers Ramesh Sharma and Pahlaj Nilani when she initially arrived in Mumbai. Unfortunately, the idea was abandoned, and director Anurag Basu saw Kangana at a coffee shop. The producer Mukesh Bhatt felt that Kangana, who was then seventeen, was too young to play the role of an alcoholic woman and refused to let her audition for his film. Chitrangada Singh was then cast, however she had to decline owing to scheduling conflicts. Finally, the part came back to Kangana and she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
