The film will be released in theatres worldwide on May 5th, and the much-anticipated trailer was released yesterday. And it is nothing less than an intense and tragic story.

The Adah Sharma starrer 'The Kerala Story' is centered on a human tragedy as it uncovers the events surrounding roughly 32,000 women going missing in the Indian southern state of Kerala who are brainwashed, converted, radicalized, and deployed in terror missions in India and around the world.

The film, directed by award-winning filmmaker Sudipto Sen, will follow four ladies from being average college students in Kerala to become members of one of the world's most feared terror organizations. A few months ago, the filmmakers published an explosive teaser starring Adah Sharma as Fatima Ba, a converted Muslim woman.

The teaser for 'The Kerala Story' sparked passionate emotions from both supporters and opponents. The majority of the audience described the film as "brave," "unapologetic," and "unbiased." It praised the filmmakers for attempting to convey a story that few will dare to tell.
