Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's marriage was a small family affair, with their closest relatives gathering at Ranbir's Vastu residence for the occasion. The Kapoor sisters, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, and Nitasha Nanda, also attended. Riddhima also conveyed a note after the wedding to greet Alia into the clan, but with the caveat that she had been a part of it for a long time.
Riddhima posted a romantic wedding photo of Ranbir kissing Alia on the lips and captioned it “Couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family! aliaabhatt We love you and can’t wait to be a part of this incredible journey you both have embarked on! Kareena also posted a photo of the brides and grooms on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Our hearts are full… Welcome to the family my darling Alia.”
She also posted a photo with her cousins Kareena and Karisma, children of her uncle Randhir Kapoor and aunt Babita, as well as Nitasha Nanda, daughter of her late aunt Ritu Nanda. Riddhima wears a beige and ivory lehenga, Kareena wears a pink saree and mang tika, and Karisma wears a white and orange saree with a traditional hairband.
Kareena also posted a photo of Ranbir and Alia kissing after the wedding, captioning it, "Ranbir Raj Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. This is the stuff that dreams are made of."
Mother Neetu Kapoor also conveyed her joy after Ranbir finally married Alia. Neetu captioned a photo of herself with Riddhima, Nitasha, and her sister-in-law Rima Jain, "Happy group after the most amazing celebration."
