Thank God, a comedy-drama starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles, was all set to release in July. But if fresh reports are to be believed, the release of the film has been pushed back.
Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the news in a recent interview, saying, “Thank God has been delayed because of extensive VFX work. We will announce a new date shortly.”
Thank God’s release date has been taken over by another Bhushan Kumar film, Ek Villain 2.
The film’s plot has been kept under wraps for the time being, but fans are really excited to watch Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sidharth Malhotra together in one film.
After working together on the 2019 action comedy Total Dhamaal (2011), filmmaker Indra Kumar and Ajay Devgn have teamed up for the second time.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhushan Kumar has an interesting lineup of films in the coming months. He is producing Action Hero with Ayushmann Khurrana, Bholaa, and Drishyam 2 with Ajay Devgn, Vikram Vedha with Hrithik Roshan, and Saif Ali Khan, Luv Ranjan’s film with Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, as well as a project with Rajkummar Rao.
