The first poster for the comedy film Thank God, starring actor Ajay Devgn, has gone viral. The movie, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh, will hit theatres on October 25 and compete with Ram Setu, which stars Akshay Kumar and opens on October 24. Given that both actors had dud performances this year, there is hope that these films can help Bollywood escape its current rut. Ajay Devgn announced the release of the film last year.

Ajay Devgn introduced his character, Chitragupt, and shared the Thank God movie's first look poster on Instagram. He is visibly sitting on a huge golden throne, and the initial view appears to be pretty intriguing! Ajay Devgn stated in his post that the movie's trailer will be released tomorrow. He wrote the caption of his post, "This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! #ThankGod trailer out tomorrow. In cinemas on October 25.”

Directed by Indra Kumar, Thank God is produced by Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. Both the Masti film series and the Dhamaal series were directed by Indra Kumar. On Ishq and the first Masti movie, he worked with Ajay. This is Ajay and Rakul's third time working together. They had previously worked on Runway 34 and De De Pyaar De. In the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Indian Police Force, which is based in Rohit Shetty's cop world and in which Ajay plays Singham, Ajay might co-star with Siddharth.
