Tara Sutaria to collaborate with the makers of Kabir Singh on a new film
Most recently seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Tadap opposite debutant Ahan Shetty, Tara Sutaria has added one more exciting project to her line-up. Buzz has it that the newcomer has signed on to star in Cine1 Studios’ next production venture.
Cine1 Studios has backed several successful films over the past few years, including Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh (2019). Tara Sutaria will reportedly play the solo lead in its upcoming untitled project.
Sharing more details, a source in the know informs a publication, “Right from her first film, Tara Sutaria has proved her mettle as an actor/performer. She is super talented and holds immense promise. Every project that she has been part of, she has added immense value to it. This will be her first solo lead film but it is interesting that she has bagged it so early on in her career. A formal announcement for the Murad Khetani production is awaited but Tara is on board and the news should come out soon officially too.”
When asked about the genre of the film, the source said, “It is a thriller drama and Tara will be seen in a new light in this film.”
In addition, Tara Sutaria also has Ekta Kapoor’s much-anticipated film Ek Villain Returns in her pocket in which she stars alongside John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, and Disha Patani. The actress also reunites with Tiger Shroff in Heropanti 2.
