In a recent press conference, actor Tanushree Dutta lashed out at Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri, accusing them of using her name for publicity. Dutta said that she refuses to give them any attention, as they are "irrelevant" to her now.

Dutta's comments come in the wake of a question from a reporter about why people who ruined her career are having successful careers, while she is not getting any offers. Dutta replied that she doesn't want to talk about these people, as they need her name to run their films.
"Even in 2008, Nana Patekar couldn't sell his film and even today he can't sell his film on his own, so he incites the media so that the media can ask me questions about his films and I, like a volcano, will say something which will give fame to his film. They are already on the road anyway," Dutta said.
Dutta then refused to answer any further questions about Patekar or Agnihotri.
In 2018, Dutta accused Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the 2009 film 'Horn Ok Pleassss'. Dutta's allegations sparked the #MeToo movement in India, and she has since been a vocal advocate for women's rights.
