Tanushree Dutta barely avoids a 'freak car accident' on her trip to Ujjain's Mahakal shrine after her brakes fail
On her journey to the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, actress Tanushree Dutta was involved in an accident. The actress wrote on Instagram that the car she was driving had a brake failure and that she managed to avoid the accident with only minor injuries. Tanushree shared photos of herself with chandan smeared across her forehead from the famous Shiva temple. In a maroon suit with a lot of kohl in her eyes and a little black bindi, the actress was seen posing for selfies.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram, she wrote, “Today was an adventurous day!! But finally did make it to Mahakaal darshan..Freak accident on my way to temple...brake fail crash.. . Got away with just a few stitches...Jai Shree Mahakaal!”
Sharing another post, she also wrote, “Very first road accident of my whole life & it just made my resolve & faith stronger...very humbling experience too knowing that I'm perhaps not as invincible as I believe myself to be...”
Tanushree Dutta made her Bollywood debut with Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005) and has since appeared in films such as Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets (2005), Bhagam Bhag (2006), 36 China Town (2006), Apartment (2010), and others.
She made waves in 2018 when she accused elderly actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment. The incident occurred during the filming of their film in 2008. In Bollywood, this started the #MeToo movement.
