Dobaaraa, a movie by Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, has made a name for itself by premiering at some of the most prominent film festivals, including the Fantasia Film Festival, London Film Festival, and now Melbourne International Film Festival. Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Rithvik Dhanjani attended the Australian premiere and opening night in front of hundreds of Indian and Australian viewers. After the premiere, the movie received an avalanche of positive reviews, making Anurag, the director, and Taapsee, the star, very happy. While this may appear to be one of the most important turning points for the cast of Dobaaraa, it is an even more momentous turning point for our nation and the eager public that has been waiting with bated breath.

Taapsee, who was last seen in Shabaash Mithu expressed her thoughts about the film at the premiere and said, “Excited the film is being screened here in Australia a week ahead of the India release. I hope everyone sees and appreciates the film, it’s a whole new genre and the concept of time travel and a parallel universe which is being experimented with for the first time in the Hindi film industry."

Taapsee Pannu had previously appeared in the Anurag Kashyap films Sand Ki Aankh and Manmarziyaan. Dobaaraa will be the third project Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap have worked on together. Additionally, Ekta R. Kapoor introduces Cult Movies with Dobaaraa, a brand-new division of Balaji Motion Pictures that presents engrossing, edgy, and genre-defying tales.

Taapsee who’s been doing films back to back will also appear with Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the film Dunki. The film’s shooting is going on currently and is slated to release next year.
