The gender binary is a thing of the past, and assumptions of what men and women ought to look like and act like are being disproved every day. However, it appears that certain Bollywood stars from the 1980s are hesitant to advance and prefer to make absurd remarks about others who are erasing the gender gap. Today, we'll discuss Sunny Deol, who recently made remarks regarding Bollywood celebrities' shaved heads, muscular bodies, and dancing prowess.
Ameesha Patel and Deol both appear in ‘Gadar 2,’ which is currently under production. Additionally, just like in the film, the two frequently collaborate on contentious remarks. Ameesha recently made anti-LGBTQ comments while criticising OTT entertainment, for the uninitiated.
Sunny Deol referred to men actors who opt to remove their body hair as ‘girls’ in his most recent interview. He stated, “Mujhe toh badi sharam aati hai jab shave karlete hai apne baal, ladki ban gaya (I feel very shy when they shave their body hair as they look like girls).”
The actor seemed to have overlooked the fact that his own brother, Bobby Deol, has appeared in pictures without facial or chest hair.
The actor went on to suggest that male performers are now more concerned with developing six-pack abs. He said, “I don’t understand all these things. We are actors, not bodybuilders. We are here to act, not to do bodybuilding. But, because of that we are getting talents with the mindset, ‘I have built my body, I can now become an actor, I am a dancer, I can be an actor.’”
Once more, Sunny Deol neglected to look at his son Karan Deol's Instagram page, which features the ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ actor's training regimens.
We must keep in mind that gender equality is an important issue, and those who hold positions where they are followed by millions of fans should exercise restraint when saying things like this. Even different directors have admitted that they did not consider it well before creating a few films that supported toxic masculinity. Keeping a clean shave is also popular among South Korean performers and singers, and it goes without saying how successful and well-liked the Korean entertainment business is.

We should follow Ranveer Singh's lead, who has been defying fashion rules for years and winning admiration for it. The ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ actor is one of the most successful, and by remaining loyal to himself and ignoring the hateful remarks, he is consistently rising to new heights.
