Sunil Grover is ready to return to work. The actor-comedian was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after suffering a heart attack a month ago. His heart was found to have blockages, and he was operated on. He had three angioplasty procedures. Sunil Grover is slated to start full-time work tomorrow, according to The Times of India. He's on his way to Rishikesh to begin his new project.
According to a source close to ETimes, the 44-year-old actor has been maintaining a healthy exercise and diet regimen and has taken a positive approach to his health setback. “He is now raring to get back to work. He will commence the shoot of his new project in Rishikesh. But he will follow his diet, yoga and fitness regime,” said the source.
ANI said in a tweet following Sunil's surgery, “Sunil Grover underwent 4 bypass surgeries using both internal mammary arteries from inside his chest. He had a very uneventful postoperative recovery&was discharged on 3rd Feb. He has recovered well, was walking around&doing his day to day activities: Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai.”
Sunil has been flooded with recovery messages from the Bollywood industry. Sunil had also used his social media account to convey his gratitude to his doctors for their care. “Grateful to drpandaasianheart , #Dr.D’Silva and the entire team of doctors and nursing staff at the Asian heart institute for aligning my heart just before this Valentine’s Day. Thank you,” he'd written below a photo.
