SpiceJet acknowledges Sonu Sood's contribution to Covid-19; A plane with his picture on it takes off
During the COVID 19 outbreak, actor Sonu Sood proved to be a real-life hero by helping many underprivileged and migratory workers. Sonu has gone above and beyond to help the poor and those in need. The actor has worked relentlessly to help the poor, from offering medical assistance, financial aid, and arranging Covid prescriptions to safely returning many stranded migrant workers to their homes. Sonu was recently awarded a UAE golden visa for his humanitarian efforts during the pandemic.
Now, the Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005) actor has posted a video to Instagram in which he is seen with an airplane that has his picture on it. SpiceJet honoured Sonu last year by displaying his photo on its Boeing 737 aircraft in recognition for his exemplary work during Covid-19. Sonu acknowledged his accomplishment to his mother's blessings in a video shared on social media. Sharing the video on his Instagram handle, he captioned in Hindi, "बस, माँ की दुआ का असर है असली उड़ान अभी बाक़ी है दोस्त.”
Sonu and SpiceJet had teamed together during the start of the pandemic in 2020 to assist in the return of thousands of trapped Indians from overseas. More than 1,500 Indian students trapped in Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, Almaty, and other countries were rescued by the two.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood will be next seen in Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar starrer Prithviraj. He also replaced Ranvijay Singha in the MTV show Roadies.
