Sonam Kapoor, a Bollywood actress, has not only been a fantastic performer but also a fashion inspiration to many. From experimenting with her appearances to raising the fashion threshold, the style queen has always captured the attention of her followers due to her flawless dressing sense. Sonam Kapoor recently revealed that she favours having only one costume designer for a film and that having numerous designers leads to a lack of "synergy."
Sonam said during an interview at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival that she prefers not to have too many costume designers on set. She stated that there is a new tendency in which one designer is assigned to the leads and another to the background artists, and that "there is never a synergy between the two." "It's like having three directors of photography and two directors on a film." These are the HODs we're discussing. A HOD should be just that: a HOD. A film set should not have five HODs. "That could be a controversial statement (laughs)," the ‘Aisha’ actress said.

Sonam Kapoor stated her wish to be a part of a period drama film during the debate, stating that she wants to break her image of "the girl next door." "I have never done a period film, with jewellery and Indian clothes," the actress revealed. "I've never done a dramatic film like that before."

She further added, “I am always wearing simple salwar kameez, and I am from Chandni Chowk or a small village in Punjab, or one of those (places). So, my dream is to do a period dramatic role one day. I have never worn dramatic (costumes) and that’s why I make it on the red carpet.”
