Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja's New Delhi home was robbed, and money and jewelry worth Rs 1.41 crore were taken

The day began with some shocking news for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja fans. The couple's New Delhi home was robbed, and cash and jewelry valued at Rs 1.41 crore were stolen. According to the news channel, Sonam Kapoor's mother-in-law was the first to rush to the Tughlaq Road police station to report the robbery at their home. With the high-profile nature of the case in mind, senior officers of the Delhi Police quickly took charge and formed investigation squads.

Sonam and Anand's employees are being questioned as part of the investigations. According to the report, the Delhi Police is questioning 25 employees in addition to 9 caretakers, drivers, gardeners, and other workers. Not only the Delhi Police but also the FSL, are involved in the collection of evidence from the crime scene, which occurred to be Sonam and Anand's Delhi home. Because the case was high-profile, it was kept under wraps. According to reports, the investigation is ongoing, and the perpetrators have yet to be identified.

According to the report, Sonam's father-in-law Harish Ahuja and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja live in the Delhi residence on Amrita Shergill Marg with Anand's grandmother Sarla Ahuja. Sarla Ahuja (grandmother) claimed in her complaint that she discovered the theft on February 11 when she inspected her cupboards for jewelry and cash. On February 23, the complaint was filed. She told the cops that the last time she checked on the jewelry was two years ago.

After receiving the complaint, the police began investigating the theft at Sonam and Anand's home. They are also reviewing CCTV footage from the previous year in order to identify any accused in the case. Last month, a report claimed that Sonam's father-in-law has duped them out of Rs 27 crore. In that case, ten people were arrested.

Sonam and Anand are currently in Mumbai. Sonam and Anand are expecting their first child. She is currently staying with her father, Anil Kapoor.
