‘Singham Again’, starring Ajay Devgn, is currently the talk of the town. Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn recently performed a pooja before beginning filming for ‘Singham Again’. However, it appears that the film may be in jeopardy due to a recent declaration made by a Bombay High Court judge. According to Justice Gautam Patel, films like ‘Singham’ send out a harmful message.
At an event hosted by the Indian officers Foundation to commemorate the annual day and Police Reforms Day, Justice Gautam Patel stated that in movies, officers are depicted as submissive, timid, thickly spectacled, and frequently extremely poorly clothed.
He went on to say that in movies, the cops blame the courts of letting the guilty walk free, and the cop delivers justice on his own. He then used the film ‘Singham’, starring Ajay Devgn, as an example. He stated that in the climactic scene of ‘Singham’, the entire police force descends on a politician played by Prakash Raj, and then they show that justice has been served.
He saw the film's message as harmful. According to Justice Patel, there is a mechanism that determines whether the accused is innocent or guilty.
He said, “These processes are slow...they have to be...because of the cardinal principle that the liberty of an individual is not to be confiscated. If this process was abandoned in favour of "shortcuts", then we subvert the rule of law.”
‘Singham’ was launched in July 2011, and fans are eagerly awaiting ‘Singham Again’. Speaking of Singham, the film will also star Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi, in addition to Ajay Devgn as Singham.
Deepika Padukone will also appear in the film as a female officer. Kareena Kapoor Khan will star in this flick. In the film, she will reprise her role as Ajay Devgn's wife. By the end of this month, she will begin filming for the picture. According to rumours, ‘Singham Again’ would be shot both in India and abroad.
