Popular Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on May 29. The tragic and unfortunate incident took place just a day after the Punjab Police withdrew the security of 424 people, including that of Sidhu.
The late singer would've turned 29 yesterday. On the occasion of his birthday (on Saturday), Sidhu's loved ones took to social media and remember the singer and his memories.
Popular Punjabi actress Sargun Mehta also remembered Sidhu Moose Wala on his birthday. Taking to Instagram, she shared an interesting anecdote related to the singer.
Sargun remembered an old incident when she had an encounter with Sidhu while coming out of a hotel. Moose Wala did not notice Mehta and had left the hotel when somebody told him about Sargun's presence inside. Hearing this, the singer rushed back to meet the actress and kept apologising repeatedly for failing to notice her.
Later, he again apologized for the same episode when the duo met on the sets of the film Qismat 2. Sargun remembered how humble and down to earth Sidhu was despite being a towering name in the Punjabi film and music industry.
On an emotional note, Sargun Mehta ended the post and mentioned that not only was the singer gifted and talented, he was also a very good human being. And on that, we couldn't agree more!
